We encourage catch and release for conservation purposes.

In the sport of bass fishing, conservation is key so we practice catch and release. This allows the sport to continue to grow and for our future generations to enjoy it. I carry all the equipment to properly record and document your trophy catch. The three main factors in recording your trophy catch are getting the weight, the length and good photos. I will be sure to take several photos of you holding your fish and will provide all photos to you.

When you fish with me, I provide just about everything you will need. I will provide all the rods, reels and tackle but feel free to bring your own if you’d like. There will be plenty of ice and drinks on the boat. Typically, the drinks I keep on board are bottled water and Gatorade. If you prefer something else, you are more than welcome to bring it and store it in the cooler. I always recommend bringing a light snack or lunch if you book a longer trip. At certain times of year, the Texas sun can take its toll so I always recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses and wearing some kind of long sleeves to protect your skin. I carry plenty of sunscreen on the boat but if you have a preference, I suggest bringing some with you.

In my years of experience, I have always found the morning to be when the fish are most active. Most trips start at daybreak but I am open to afternoon trips if that works better for your schedule.

When you fish with me, you are guaranteed to get one of the most professional, courteous and knowledgeable guides in the industry. I absolutely love my job and I enjoy meeting new people and sharing everything I have learned through years of being on the water. I have heard horror stories of people booking with a guide and getting yelled at or belittled for not doing something right. That is the last thing you can expect when you book with me. This is supposed to be a fun, relaxing and educational experience for you. I have the patience and will take the time to work with you to make you a more well-rounded angler. One thing I can guarantee is that I will work hard for you from the time you step on my boat till the very last cast. I look forward to fishing with you!
